Finny Family
The Finny family was struggling with a dated, tired and very tight, builder grade master bathroom. The bathroom did not function for them because the shower, which they used every day, felt confining. There was also a giant, corner-style tub that dominated the space, and they rarely used it.

Concept
The corner tub made the space in front of the toilet tight and confining. They really wanted to open the space without relocating any walls or relocating the windows and were struggling with how to pull this off. Our bathroom remodeling experts tackled this problem by introducing a free-standing tub and maximizing the size and massing of the shower. We created a sense of volume in the room by removing the soffits over the vanity, eliminating the enormous tub deck, eliminating the knee wall around the shower and installing a frameless shower enclosure. We anchored the vanity by adding a stem, wall which also provided additional storage and location for a medicine cabinet.
