About Us
The Daniels Design and Remodeling Company have been building an outstanding reputation since
1997, by applying the Golden Rule and earning our client’s trust – one project
at a time. After President Ted Daniels had spent a number of years working for other builders
and architects, he decided to found a firm to create his own unique style. His hands on experience
in a multitude of aspects of the building trade have provided a rich foundation for the Corporation.
The company is a full-service design build firm. Our capabilities provide a complete start-to-finish
package from the beginning of the first general ideas to the completion of the total project.
Our design staff, production staff and administrative staff all work in concert to insure our
clients receive the highest quality of service during each segment of the construction process. Our
paramount goal is to offer complete remodeling services with the highest level of professional
service, while developing our relationship through effective communication and efficient management. We
believe that a project is only fully completed after the expectations of our clients are totally
met.
As active participating members of The National Association of
the Remodeling Industry we wholeheartedly subscribe to its Code of Ethics as "We
pledge to observe the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and responsibility in the
conduct of business."
Realizing that a remodeling project is only as good as the
people who build it, we take extreme pride in the competency, conscientiousness,
and congenial personalities of our staff.

Our management team is led by Ted Daniels, the President of the firm. He is a trusted professional
builder and remodeler, whose zeal for refined craftsmanship is evident in every project we
produce. A native Virginian, Ted grew up with a special interest in “building things” from
a very early age. His career in the industry began as he worked in a local cabinet makers shop,
building customized casework. Later he became a carpenter’s apprentice working with some
of the best craftsmen in the trade. With over 12 years of hands on experience “wearing
the tool belt”, he developed a variety of skills and expertise in numerous areas of carpentry.
As a lead carpenter with a local Reston firm, he moved on to become the Superintendent of Construction.
He further increased his skills and management capabilities during his tenure as the Senior
Production Manger with an architectural contracting firm in Vienna. As a family man and father
